Sweep2Strategy

Enum Sweep2Strategy

Source
pub enum Sweep2Strategy {
    Forward,
    Backward,
    BackAndForth,
}
Expand description

Direction of two-site sweeps.

§Examples

use tensor4all_tensorci::Sweep2Strategy;

// BackAndForth is the default
let strategy = Sweep2Strategy::default();
assert_eq!(strategy, Sweep2Strategy::BackAndForth);

// All three variants
let fwd = Sweep2Strategy::Forward;
let bwd = Sweep2Strategy::Backward;
assert_ne!(fwd, bwd);

Variants§

§

Forward

Sweep left-to-right only.

§

Backward

Sweep right-to-left only.

§

BackAndForth

Alternate between forward and backward sweeps (default).

This is the most robust choice: forward sweeps improve right-canonical form while backward sweeps improve left-canonical form, and alternating achieves better overall convergence.
