pub enum TriangleType {
Lower,
Upper,
}Expand description
Type of triangular matrix for cumsum-like operators.
§Variants
Lower: Strict lower triangle, M[i,j] = 1 when i > j. Computes the prefix sum: y_i = sum of x_j for j < i.Upper: Strict upper triangle, M[i,j] = 1 when i < j. Computes the suffix sum: y_i = sum of x_j for j > i.
§Examples
use tensor4all_quanticstransform::{triangle_operator, TriangleType};
// Prefix sum (lower triangle)
let lower = triangle_operator(4, TriangleType::Lower).unwrap();
assert_eq!(lower.mpo.node_count(), 4);
// Suffix sum (upper triangle)
let upper = triangle_operator(4, TriangleType::Upper).unwrap();
assert_eq!(upper.mpo.node_count(), 4);Variants§
Lower
Strict lower triangle: M[i,j] = 1 when i > j. Computes y_i = sum of x_j for j < i (prefix sum).
Upper
Strict upper triangle: M[i,j] = 1 when i < j. Computes y_i = sum of x_j for j > i (suffix sum).
